Frostbite Tour 2015
This year's Frostbite Tour could not have been better. The sun was out and the cruise was true to its name. Crisp and frosty! We had close to thirty cars participating.
We departed Port Gamble at 0945 hrs and caravan'd to Port Angeles to see Al's eclectic collection of Packards, Cadillacs, Chevrolets. All in pristine condition.
Carol treated us to her homemade baked buns our of her trunk of her T-bird. We then proceeded to the Lake Crescent Lodge for lunch, led and hosted by Jerry and Carol. The lunch was most excellent as we were offered a menu of Fish & Chips, Cheeseburgers, Chicken salad.
At the conclusion of lunch Jerry stood up and asked the group if they were happy with his guided tour. He said the tour lived up to its name and it had in all aspects.
One sour note, as one of our members vehicle was the victim of a fender bender in the parking lot while we were dining. It appears an RV was maneuvering in its parking spot and hit the an OVAC vehicle. The owner did the right thing and came into the lodge to find the owner. The park rangers showed up to document the incident.
